Supreme Protector fabric, tough and lightweight......has been selected by The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a candidate material for tire covers on the planned Mars Rover. Martian lava rock (we are told) is sharp and
jagged. Inflatable tires need a protective cover to insure the vehicle
can operate for months without a flat. Supreme Protector fabric from
JHRG is light, strong and easy to fabricate. (Depending on your driving
habits, tire wear and mileage may vary.)
