Flexible Shields

Flexible Breacher Shields are designed as threat level III ballistic barriers for high risk operations, especially in confined spaces. Our largest shield is 32" x 72", and can easily pass through a doorway while keeping the bearer (and those following) out of harms way. The JHRG Flexible Breacher Shield is a redesign of the original US Marine Corps tactical assault shield. We have added a flame resistant, water repellent, outer cover made from 100% Spectra. The new shell is cut and tear resistant to assure long service life. Stout handholds may be positioned according to user request. With conveniently placed webbing the shield can also be used as a litter. This large shield rolls down to a 10" diameter for storage or transport in the Breacher Backpack, sold separately. Smaller sizes can be made to your specification. They include flexible internal battens which keep the shield fully expanded, but allow compression when clearing tight sports in doorways, windows, halls, or closets. The Flexible Breacher Shield comes in dark gray. The large shield weighs 22 pounds.

The optional Breacher Backpack has padded shoulders, a waist strap, and a stout frame reinforced with aircraft aluminum. The Backpack provides easy storage, transportation, and deployment of the Flexible Breacher Shield. Made from 1,000 denier Cordura nylon the backpack also has a heavy duty zipper which, when opened, drops the shield into your partners hands.
